Super Swimmer; 9 year old Jago Wickett completed a 5K sponsored swim for Over and Above in memory of Pauline Smeeth, his best friend’s grandmother. The swim, along with a quiz night raised an amazing £1024.73 for the Cancer and Wellbeing Centre.

This is an AMAZING young man!! We cannot thank you enough, Jago for the great fundraising you have done so far for us!

Big thanks to former Mayor Ian Roome for the great fundraising support the charity received during his term as Mayor. Lisa from the Fundraising team is seen being presented with a cheque for £5398.50, which goes to the Cancer & Wellbeing Centre Appeal.

We have a massive THANK YOU to give to our outside events team. Norman Sanders and the crew support the charity in various ways, from providing PA sound support at outside events to arranging fundraising events of their own.

They have managed to raise £1000 so far this year. Thanks Team!!

The amazing Helen Bray and her family, have done it again!!! Helen and her family have been avid fundraisers and supporters of the Charity for along time and have helped us to raise a considerable amount over the years.

Here she is pictured at the FAB Scrumptious Croyde Trail earlier this month, presenting a cheque to Ian & Julie from the fundraising team.

BIG THANKS to Martin Grimwood of Martins Travel, Braunton and Jenny Wellham who have donated an amazing £650 to the Cancer and Wellbeing Centre appeal.

This fabulous duo, raised this amount by completing a sponsored slim from Christmas through to Easter. Between them they lost an amazing 4 stone. WELL DONE!!!

BIG THANKS to the Barnstaple Jigs Skittles Team!! They were the winning skittles team at the Serious About Events 25th Celebrations in Torquay. They were competing with 31 other teams to win the last weekend of the Serious About Events 2019 season.

They very generously donated their £150.00 prize money to us to put towards the Cancer & Wellbeing Centre Appeal.

North Devon Young Farmers recently presented a cheque to the Maternity Unit Staff. This extra £750.00  will be going towards the North Devon Maternity Bereavement Fund. Thank You!

North Devon Hospital Maternity staff raised a WHOPPING £1317.00 through their Spring Raffle. This is going towards the Maternity Bereavement Room fund, that they are busily raising funds for. Good work everyone!
