GET INTO THE FESTIVE SPIRIT and put on your favourite Christmas Jumper on Friday 14th December, and join in the hospital charity Christmas Jumper Day in aid of “Over and Above”, the North Devon District Hospital charity. We will also be judging the best decorated office at the hospital, but why don’t you join in too and help us raise money for the Cancer and Wellbeing Centre Appeal.
Fundraiser Julie Whitton said “Our hospital charity Christmas Jumper Day is a great opportunity for staff, patients, community groups, schools, and the general public to embrace Christmas in a fun and festive way and to reflect on how important our hospital is to us by supporting our local services. You can raise funds for our Cancer and Wellbeing Appeal by texting OVER15+ amount to 70070 (eg OVER15£5), or you can choose a hospital department of your choice such as the cardiology unit, stroke unit, Caroline Thorpe childrens ward, Seamoor Chemotherapy Unit – you choose.”
Which jumper will you wear? Father Christmas, Rudolf, Santa’s helper, a snowman – there are so many different ones to choose from.
If your workplace does not permit wearing Christmas jumpers, why not instead consider wearing a hat, a Christmas brooch, a Christmas tie or even your favourite Christmas festive socks! If the 14th December doesn’t suit you, you can find one that does.
