Look good, feel better

Look good, feel better

We work with Look Good Feel Better, a cancer support charity, to run monthly sessions to help boost the physical and emotional wellbeing of women undergoing cancer treatment. We also hope to set up sessions for men focused on skincare and grooming.

We organise free, two-hour, confidence boosting Workshops for all ages, skin-tone and any type of cancer, in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Each session (normally 5 attendees) is hosted by qualified volunteers. We work through a specially designed routine, showing you basic skincare and make-up techniques to help you both “look good and feel better”. By the end you will have had fun, look fabulous and enjoyed meeting people in a similar situation.  You will also get a goody bag containing up to ÂŁ300 worth of beauty products to take away.

To find out more ask your Cancer Nurse Specialist, one of the healthcare team, or visit the Fern Centre.

In addition to these sessions, you can request to take part in a virtual workshop, view online tutorials and find put more on the Look Good Feel Better website:
