Date/Time October 3, 2021 12:00 am - 9:30 am
Raise vital funds for your local NHS charity at the London Marathon 2021!
As a fundraising event, nothing can compete with the most iconic marathon in the world; a race like no other and one to tick off the bucket list.
We would love to have you as part of our running team!
Your own place in the ballot
If you are successful in the Virgin Money London Marathon public, gotten a place through a running club, or have a deferred entry, we would love for you to join team Over and Above!
As an own place runner you receive all the same support as those with a charity place, but there is no set sponsorship target for you to meet.

How we’ll support you
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or first time runner, Over and Above will be there to support you every step of the way and to make sure your London Marathon experience is one you’ll never forget!
- A free running vest or shirt
- Fundraising pack
- A dedicated Over and Above contact to provide you with support
- Regular updates on how your support will make a difference
How much does it cost to take part?
If you are offered a charity place we ask for a non-refundable deposit of £100 to secure your place. This can be added to your overall fundraising target.
How much do I need to fundraise?
If you receive an Over and Above charity place we ask you to raise a minimum of £2,000 in sponsorship (exclusive of Gift Aid).
If you are an own place runner then there is no minimum amount you have to raise.
What if I don’t hit my target?
We ask that you only apply for a charity place if you are confident you can commit to raising the £2,000. Don’t worry though, we’ll be there to support you every step of the way!!
In the unlikely event you are struggling to meet your target two weeks after the event, you will be asked to make up the difference
