Keith Regan’s 2019 FDNY Stair climb challenge

Date/Time May 4, 2019 All Day

Keith has set himself a mammoth challenge; he is teaming up with the New York Fire Department on 4th May 2019 and helping raise money for the families of the 343 firefighters, police and medics who lost their lives on 9/11 and those now suffering from the after effects of the 68 related cancer’s to 9/11.

He will be climbing to the top of the World Trade Centre building 3, in full firefighting kit, including breathing apparatus … total weight approximately 75 lbs. Some of the families of the 343 victims will be there on the day and they will be overlooking the memorial gardens at Ground Zero, so it will be a very emotional event.

Keith is already in contact with the FDNY & the event director and all are giving him their total support.  He has also decided that 50% of the money raised WILL go the North Devon Hospital, Over & Above Cancer & Wellbeing Centre Appeal. Keith tells us he was given 5 years to live with terminal cancer which is now secondary in his spine, both hips, a few ribs (which also makes him short of breath) & the tops of his legs.
2019 is his 5th & final year according to the medical profession but he aims to go beyond 2020 just to prove a point !

BIG RESPECT KEITH!!!
