- This lovely group of people at Bishops Tawton Little Village Workshop raised a fabulous £315 for the Over and Above Cancer and Wellbeing Centre Appeal. They organised a Christmas tree yarn bombing in Bishops Tawton Square which was awesome! They have also told me today they have chosen us as their designated charity. A BIG thank you to Pamela and her fantastic team!!

- Wow!!!! Thank you to the League of Friends of the Tyrrell Hospital Ilfracombe. They have raised a whopping £1000.00 for the Cancer & Wellbeing Centre Appeal. Cheque was presented by Chairman; Gloria Satchwell, Deputy Chairman; Eric Hayes and Committee member & volunteer; Linda Allcock. - North Devon District Hospital Radiologists took part in the hospital charity’s awesome Berry Beast Abseil at Hartland and raised a fantastic £627 for cancer support services at the hospital. Radiologist Jess Budge said “It was a very long way down but our team had a fantastic experience. We are now looking forward to another exciting challenge”. Thank you

- Staff Nurse Caroline Reed took part in the London Marathon and raised a magnificent £1,112.29 towards the painting of a children’s mural and the purchase of a DVD player and DVDs for the day surgery unit at North Devon District Hospital. A HUGE well done and thank you from us.

- A BIG well done and thank you to London marathon runner Janet Regan, who raised a magnificent £1,521.45 for the Over and Above Cancer Support Unit. Janet was determined to raise as much money as possible to support our cancer patients here at the North Devon Hospital and we can’t thank her enough. Her fundraising will help us to build a much needed unit in North Devon. Janet ran the marathon with six other runners and together they have raised an incredible £9,500 to support five of our hospital departments…WOW! You are all INCREDIBLE, thank you.

- SOUTH MOLTON couple Peter and Gladys Selway recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary by raising funds for the Special Care Baby Unit. They raised a fantastic £600 which they handed to the neonatal nurses at North Devon District Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit with their 38 year old daughter. - Braunton couple Olly and Lucy Seymour with help from Jane Squire and Santander employees Lisa Patterson and Becky Cann organised the SQ Masquerade Ball and charity auction which raised a phenomenal £7,500 for the Caroline Thorpe children’s Ward to mark National Encephalitis Day.

- Les and Chantal Moore raised £1,385 by completing the London Marathon in aid of the Special Care Baby Unit. Les is pictured here with our nurses at North Devon District Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit who were absolutely delighted with the cheque. The money will be well spent on purchasing additional equipment to support sick babies at the hospital.

- Two Rivers Wind Ensemble donated £135 which they raised at their recent concert at Christchurch in Barnstaple. The money will go towards the hospital cancer support services at the North Devon District Hospital.
