The Scrumptious Croyde Trail – photo gallery 2019

It may have been a damp day but we had a fantastic time at our delicious Scrumptious Croyde Trail – we had a fabulous day. There are lots more photos to come from the brilliant Barnstaple Camera Club – we will be posting them shortly.

At the popular village Billy Budds pub we enjoyed delicious sausage pate burgers and mushroom burgers washed down with scrumptious Devon Dry cider. http://www.billybudds.co.uk/

On the coast path overlooking the Down End Beach we enjoyed a sample of Peck & Strong brownies or flapjack http://peckandstrong.co.uk/ and Freshly brewed tea supplied by the Drop-in Café http://parkingcroyde.com/ and Hawkridge Farmhouse Dairy Products https://hawkridge.uk.com/
At Saunton Court we had a treat of Delicious honey fudge supplied by Quince Honey Farm https://www.quincehoneyfarm.co.uk/

At Long Lane we had fresh bread supplied by Red Dog Artisan Bakery http://reddogbakery.co.uk/ with tasty Plaistow Smoked trout pate from Muddiford (01271 850387) and tasty hummus supplied by Naked Kitchen http://www.nakedkitchen.co.uk/

At Georgeham’s Rock Inn we tasted their famous delicious soup made from freshly cut spears of asparagus from Braunton Great Field supplied by local farmer David Hartnoll http://therockinn.biz/ and a refreshing drink. The Kings Arms’ chef in Georgeham made a delicious tomato basil soup http://kingsarmsgeorgeham.co.uk/

At Pickwell Barn we enjoyed scrumptious scones from East West Bakery in Barnstaple https://eastandwestbakery.co.uk/ spread with delicious award winning jam from Waterhouse Fayre https://www.waterhousefayre.co.uk/

Then on Pickwell Plateau we ate local cheeses from Award winning Taw Valley Creamery http://www.arlacheese.co.uk/creamery/taw-valley/ and a truly scrumptious taste of Green Man Cider from apple orchards in Somerset and North Devon http://www.greenmancider.co.uk/

On Putsborough grass verge we ate delicious meringues from West Country Meringues http://www.westcountrymeringues.co.uk/ with South Devon Chilli Farm Chilli Chocolate- https://www.southdevonchillifarm.co.uk/ and Willie’s chocolate https://www.williescacao.com/ and Nanny’s fudge sauce https://www.facebook.com/nannysfudgesauce/ – yum

Near the end we visited the National Trust’s Sandleigh Tea Room & Gardens we enjoyed a scrumptious cream tea https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/baggy-point/features/eating-and-shopping-at-baggy-point and finally the finish at Beach Field Car Park we ate a packet of delicious BURTS hand cooked potato chips www.facebook.com/BurtsChips and Marsdens Devon Cottages gave out some fantastic goody bags with delicious Johns of Instow chocolate brownies and flapjacks.
